New Zealand Telugu Asoociation (NZTA) was established in 1998 with an intention to maintain the culture of telugu people of India. Telugu is one of the largest spoken regional languages in India.

NZTA has been registered under the New Zealand Society's Act as a non profit organisation to serve the telugu speaking people living in New zealand and to provide support to other Indian communities as required fr community, cultural and social Development.
